Hood.I.E 1/2 of Vice Squad

It’s the new millennium and the Digital Underground couldn’t be more correct with their proclamation that “All around the world’s the same song”. Everywhere you turn there are at least two new Dope boy rappers, another gimmick act and one new dance song that will eventually grow old in about a month or two. Where’s the true talent gone? It’s got to be out there, somewhere. There has to be someone out there that stays true to not only the music they make, but to themselves also. For example, someone like Hood.I.E. Born Evens Cherizier, this Miami representative is out to breathe some life into the slowly dying art form that is music. Though calm and easy going, the self-proclaimed “Hood Soldier” means business when it comes down to looking adversity in the face and accepting all challenges. Heavily influenced by the likes of Jay-Z, Ludacris, Nelly, Outkast, Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., The Fugees and Bob Marley, Hood guarantees to be different than any other artist in the game, PERIOD. Blending sheer lyrical ability, street inspired passion and club friendly vibes into one complete package. When it isn’t the constant hardships he faces living everyday life in the streets of Miami, it is the evident lack of heart and passion in the music industry that motivates him to work harder. Tired of the constant popularity contests and easy paychecks in music nowadays, Hood refuses to settle for second place. His new single (Big Boy Status) is currently generating an overwhelmingly high level of acceptance from listeners; which is to be succeeded by more hit records, a brand new mixtape and full-on worldwide takeover with the B.2. Entertainment family. Much like Jay-Z predicted in 1996 about the success of Roc-A-Fella Records and lived to up to his word; Hood is out to do the same.

TB2 The StepChild

It seems as if nowadays everything flows in a very predictable pattern. Music is watered down and tired, and everybody in the industry is out for a quick paycheck. Whatever happened to originality? Creativity? Whatever happened to the ART of making music? Is it dead? Of course not, it’s just been mishandled to the point that very few true artists still manage to create memorable music. This artist is no exception. Tim is on a mission to prove that it pays to be different and that making music from the heart is worth way more than a couple dollars. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, Timothy Jerome Martinez has always had a musical influence growing up. From the traditional Salsa sounds of his native homeland to the foreign sounds of Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B that were introduced to him upon his arrival to Miami at the age of 6. Though he didn’t really grasp the fact that music would eventually play an immense role in his life, he knew that it was something he loved and would hold close to his heart. On the path to fully learn the English language, Tim developed a strong liking for self-expression. Using poetry as a way to deal with stress, drama, love, hate, etc. and to create new worlds where things would go as he saw fit. Since he was always the shy type, no one really knew about his hidden talent. That was until a couple childhood friends discovered his unique writing ability and decided to start a rap quartet; they called themselves R.A.P.S. (Rappers Always Prove Skills) Crew. After only one mixtape release and a handful of songs, the group eventually disbanded, leaving Tim to continue down this new found path on his own. For a while, the momentum shifted back to his poetic roots and Tim began losing his desire for a future in the industry. That was, of course, until a chance meeting with the King of The South himself, T.I., that gave him the much needed motivation to continue writing and recording. Back on his pursuit to be heard by the masses, Tim eventually teamed up with childhood friends Nicholas Daniels (Nic Nak), Sean Burke (Fatboy), Maceo Williams (YTDT) and the rest of the B.2. family to take the world by storm. Now, with a hot new single (Money Right) featuring Nic Nak and an arsenal of classic material, Tim is sure to be a one of a kind artist for the world to embrace.

Double Threat 1/3 of Beach 2 Da Beans

An artist's stage name can have an infinite amount of definitions and origins. It can be a childhood nickname given to them by a family member or a close friend. It can also be a representation of their personality or favorite hobby. But what happens when you are given so many names for each of your individual musical talents that you literally don't know which one to go by? You package all of your lyrical, poetic, deep, real, rugged, soothing and dangerous talents up in one, and you introduce yourself to the world as Young Aliaz. Hailing from the Poke N Bean Projects in Liberty City, this young man's rough upbringing and unique forms of self-expression where two of the many contributing factors into the making of the star you see today. Others include the underestimations that are given to both Southern and multidimensional artists: "You can't rap, you're from the South!! You can't sing, you're a rapper, a Southern one at that!!" Yeah, right. Never one to take "NO" for an answer, Young takes it all in as motivation to work harder and raise the stakes higher each time. Whether it is a touching story illustrating the hardships of growing up in the struggle or a sweet harmony targeted towards the ladies, Young is sure to deliver. If his low-key, yet strong singing ability doesn't catch your ear, then his vicious rapping style will undoubtedly do the job. All of this is possible thanks to not only the inspiration given to him by many fan favorites such as Jay-Z and Lil' Wayne, but also by those close to him like his direct relatives and the B.2. family. Along with his Beach 2 Da Beans partner in rhyme, Nic Nak, Aliaz is guaranteed to write a whole new chapter into the book of music history all-together. Coming up from Young Aliaz is the collective B.2. Ent. Mixtape, which will be followed by a B.2. compilation disc and an eventual Beach 2 Da Beans release.

ATG 1/3 of Beach 2 Da Beans

Music today is filled with so many recycled acts that it is almost impossible to point out true talent when it is being presented to the masses. It's almost like a laundry cycle with the music that is being played and highly promoted as the "it thing". Wash, rinse, repeat; that's all you get, ESPECIALLY in Hip-Hop!! Maybe this is why so many people are declaring its demise. As Kanye West once proclaimed, Diamonds are forever. Now prepare yourself for a Diamond in the rough that's about to get his shine in both the industry and the world. With a constantly evolving sound in both production and rapping capability, it is a no-brainer that this artist is great, Ali The Great. Born on July 20, 1987, his father named him after one of the greatest boxers of all time, Muhamed Ali.. The Islamic definition of the name Ali is greatness, which is why a former co-worker coined ATG with his name. This Miami native has been getting acquainted with his true love since his early childhood through music classes and the works of early Hip-Hop legends such as Run DMC. With influence from his 2nd grade music teacher, Mr. Allen, Ali soon developed a strong interest in the many elements of music and its production. After years of constant learning, development and strong sources of inspiration stemming from the likes of Timbaland, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and others, this young hopeful was certain that his future laid in the hands of the main thing his life has revolved around; music. From that moment on, ATG (as he is best known as) set out to make music that represented both his personality and the definition of his birth name. Whether it's producing a track or ripping it, his mind is set on ending all the misconceptions that have been given to southern talent. Currently ATG is in the process of recording his debut album entitled "The Feature Presentation," consisting of all original tracks and should be dropping around September. He is also collaborating with fellow B.2.Entertainment artists on their upcoming projects.

Nak 1/3 of Beach 2 Da Beans

With Hip-Hop nowadays being so basic and predictable, it is almost impossible to find a change that will keep listeners at attention and on their toes in anticipation for undeniably good music. Especially in Southern Hip-Hop. Don’t get us wrong, we do enjoy what we’ve brought to the table thus far: Crunk, Snap, Grillz, etc. But even we’ve got to admit that something fresh, something new, something rare and DESPERATELY needed HAS to be unleashed. That “something” belongs to someone. An artist, a poet, a lyricist, a mastermind, a prodigy; Nic Nak. Born Nicholas Nehemiah Daniels on December 30, 1986 in Miami, Florida to parents Sandra and Nathaniel Daniels, this gifted individual was destined to be a star. Since the early years of elementary school, self-expression has always played a part in Nick’s life, which was often translated through the art of poetry. As he began to mature and experience the realities life brings, his poetry slowly began taking the form of (rap) music in which the inspirations of pioneers like Outkast and 2pac helped pave the way. Their creativity and consciousness helped broaden his horizons when making music was concerned. At the age of 12, while in the 7th grade at John F. Kennedy Middle School, he became a member of a class rap group call “The Proplayyaz”. Even though their run as a group was short-lived, (an entire school year) Nick never gave up on his passion for music and continued strong pursuing his dream. A couple years down the road, upon beginning his 9th grade year at North Miami Beach Senior High School, he met up with friend and future partner in rhyme, Maceo Williams aka Young The Double Threat. The two combined their very unique and very different styles and established the infamous Beach 2 Da Beans. (Note: Beach standing for Nick being from North Miami Beach and Beans standing for Mace being from the Poke N Beans Projects in Liberty City). Fast forward to 2007 and the duo is still going strong. Nick, however, is also working on solo endeavors for what he hopes will be the launch pad for his, Young’s, and the B.2. Entertainment family’s supreme reign in the industry.
